A New Chapter Begins
Magnolia Sporting Clays was established in 2020 on the storied grounds of the Capitol Gun Club in south Jackson — one of central Mississippi's most historic shooting venues. Rather than starting from scratch, we built on a foundation that already had deep roots in the region's sporting culture. That heritage is woven into every station on our course.
Our mission is straightforward: bring world-class clay shooting to central Mississippi with a facility that's welcoming to everyone — from the first-timer who's never shouldered a shotgun, to the tournament competitor chasing their next personal best. The 12-station sporting clays course winds through natural terrain that changes with the seasons, offering a genuinely different experience each visit. The companion 5-stand range gives shooters a faster-paced, compact alternative when time is short.
What we've built here is more than a range.
